There seems to have been some big money put down ahead of some of the racing at Lingfield this afternoon and we have highlighted one runner that has undergone some serious support.
The horse in question is training duo William Muir & Chris Grassick's runner, Retrospect, that has seen his price of 6/1 be smashed into as short as 3/1 ahead of his Class 5 Handicap this afternoon.
Retrospect runs off a miniscule 8 stone 3lbs for the contest and despite being 0-15, the trainers now look to have found him a more than attainable race to get off the mark.
The son of Frankel, started in handicaps off a mark of 72 but has seen his rating slip down to a mark of 57, despite showing plenty of ability at this level in the past with multiple placed efforts.
He's hinted that his time was close with marginal runner up finishes in 2 of his last 4 runs and the yard now make an eye-catching switch in the saddle and employ Hollie Doyle to get the job done, one of just 2 rides for her today at Lingfield.
Looks well in at the weights here and given the money seen for Retrospect in the market, its taken that he will finally get off the mark today.
