Iris Dancer has been knocking on the door for a while now with form figures of 232225 across her last 6 runs.
The daughter of Kodiac went down by just 3/4 of a length behind International Girl, on her penultimate start on good ground at Hamilton, however was seemingly undone by soft ground last time out when going off as favourite back over that same C&D.
She is now turned out quickly, just 5 days later, and is expected to bounce back for the return to better conditions.
She has a 4lb swing with the re-opposing International Girl, who she has a strong chance of reversing placings with here, and given she runs off a miniscule 8 stone 4lbs for todays contest, she looks well weighted to go close once again.
