There seems to have been some big money put down ahead of some of the racing at Wetherby today and we have highlighted one runner that has undergone some serious market support.
The horse in question is the Samuel Drinkwater trained Ballybreeze who has seen his opening price of 4/1 be smashed into as short as 11/10 ahead of the 15:20 at the North Yorkshire venue.
Drinkwater has enjoyed a strong spell of form recently and his 5-year-old gelding looks to be running off a very attainable opening mark off a rating of 111 on handicap debut.
Unlucky to have taken a fall when well clear on his only start in PTP's, the son of Schiaparelli has failed to get off the mark in maiden/novice company in his three career starts over hurdles however showed plenty promise when finishing a keeping on 4th last time out behind some useful types rated in the 130's.
He takes a drop in grade back into a class 4 here, is given the welcome boost of Adam Wedge in the saddle, and is open to plenty further improvement now entered into handicaps.
