There seems to have been some big money put down ahead of some of the racing at Lingfield today and we have highlighted one runner that has undergone some serious support.
The horse in question is the Ed Walker trained Rovaniemi who has seen his original offering of 9/4 cut into as short as 5/4 ahead of his class 3 handicap contest this afternoon.
Rovaniemi was recently acquired from David Simcock and shaped with real promise on debut for his new stable last time out at Kempton on the back of a three month break.
The son of Oasis Dream held a record of 1 win in 16 for previous connections however has plenty placed form off marks in and around 80, including in a higher graded affair than todays.
On that evidence, his current mark of 75 has him more than well handicapped here, he caught the eye when staying on strongly last time out, and he's more than entitled to have progressed for his returning run under new stewardship.
Hollie Doyle is a significant employment in the saddle and Rovaniemi carries a mere 8 stone 7lbs for todays affair, making him clear bottom weight for the contest.
As we've seen her perform many times before, Hollie Doyle may just go forward and make all here off her lightweight contender in a small field, and more importantly, not be for catching.
