There seems to have been some big money put down ahead of some of the racing at Wolverhampton today and we have highlighted one runner that has undergone some serious support.
The horse in question is the Phil McEntee trained, Porfin, who has seen his opening price of 7/2 be smashed into as short as 7/4 ahead of the 19:00 today.
This will be Porfins fourth run in a two week period having recently moved to the McEntee yard from William Jarvis in the summer.
He showed plenty potential for new connections when finishing runner-up on stable debut at Kempton and was duly off the mark five days later here at Wolverhampton over the 6f trip.
The drop back to 5f when last seen on Monday wasn't sure to have suited given the manner in which he was outpaced in that affair; his previously shown runnings over 6f have seen him keep on well at the finish and the step back up to 7f today looks sure to suit.
The fact he is turned out quickly once more highlights the good current order he is in; he can make that fact known here by racking up a further win for market supporters.
