Koeman poses an interesting proposition in the 15:22 at Hamilton given he has made the 372 mile trip up north to Scotland in order to be competitive in the contest.
Mick Channon has a respectable 14% strike rate with horses travelling at least this distance and an impressive 21% all time strike rate at Hamilton.
Koeman is a steamer in todays market, already cut from 10/1 into as low as 5/1 ahead of the 12f contest.
His last win came in December last year, over this trip, off a mark of 95 in a class 3 contest at Wolverhampton.
Since that run however he has been below form up at 16f and more recently in class 2 and class 3 contests, seeing his mark now slip to an attainable rating of 78.
The son of Dutch Art has now dropped into class 4 contests and looks sure to find a race at this level off a reducing rating.
He has plenty to prove and needs to drastically bounce back, however that doesn't look to be out of the question and the money seen for him in todays market is more than interesting.
