This weeks racing is all leading up to Ascot where the King George and Queen Elizabeth Stakes takes centre stage, we will be looking through some of the best renewals of the race everyday in the lead up to the contest, starting today with last year's race.
Last year's renewal was one of the best seen at Ascot for some time with a whole host of horses in the mix coming round the corner but the two stand alone runners, Enable and Crystal Ocean battling it out all the way to the line.
Enable, as ever was the hot favourite for the event but off the back of Crystal Ocean's first Group One success at Royal Ascot in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes, he looked a different animal.
Enable entered the event off the back of landing the Coral Eclipse on her seasonal debut and even fitter for that run she was always going to be hard to pass.
In the final few furlongs both horses were all out, neck and neck to the line with the Queen of the flat just having that little bit extra to clinch the win.
