Musselburgh (12:45) Tip - Punxsutawney Phil

Punxsutawney Phil represents the Mark Walford yard in the opener at Musselburgh on Monday.

The seven-year-old was a decent second over two miles and four at Sedgefield when last seen, finishing six lengths behind Salsada.

Should be threatening once again today off the same mark. He has won once from 14 starts over hurdles, and holds each-way claims at a bigger price today.

Musselburgh (13:45) Tip - No No Fizz

No No Fizz should prove difficult to beat in the mares' hurdle at 13:45 at Musselburgh on Monday.

The Fergal O'Brien team is striking at a 13% rate over the last two weeks, and this six-year-old was in excellent form when last seen over two miles at Lingfield.

She travelled strongly throughout that race, before finishing three lengths clear of Simply Gorgeous on her second start for her new yard. Still unexposed, and has more to offer.

NO NO FIZZ @ 13/8

Musselburgh (14:15) Tip - The Churchill Lad

Top weight, The Churchill Lad, looks to hold solid claims in a handicap chase at Musselburgh on Monday.

The five-year-old for the Rebecca Menzies team has won once from three starts over fences, and is yet to finish outside of the first three over the bigger obstacles. Was a winner on chase debut in October at Hexham, beating Caithness by a head.

Has followed up with two respectable efforts, and is likely to be in the frame again.

Musselburgh (15:15) Tip - Take Centre Stage

Take Centre Stage is the runner from the Rebecca Menzies yard in the final race on the card at Musselburgh on Monday.

The seven-year-old has won once from eight starts over fences, with his only success coming over two miles at Newcastle in February.

Was last seen finishing fifth over two miles and one at Kelson after a 182-day break. Up in trip today, but looks to be more unexposed than most over this distance.
