Ryan Mania is booked to take the ride on The Jad Factor in the handicap chase at Musselburgh at 13:35 on Thursday.

The eight-year-old returns from a lengthy break today, and represents a new trainer in the form of Sandy Thomson. Runners tend to go fresh from the new yard, and he re-appears on a handy mark to make an impression.

The eight-year-old is yet to win in three starts over fences, and was last seen finishing a close second behind Azof Des Mottes over an extended two miles and five at Kelso in April 2023.

Restandbethankful could make his presence felt in the 14:10 at Musselburgh on Thursday.

The eight-year-old represents the Lizzie Quinlan yard, with Sean Quinlan booked to take the ride. He is a three-time winner over fences, and will be making his 22nd start over the bigger obstacles today.

He was narrowly denied on his latest effort over two miles and one at Kelso, finishing just under a length behind Pay The Piper.

Has a lower handicap mark to work with over hurdles, and has won three from 16 starts over the smaller obstacles.

Malangen is the runner for the Lisa Harrison yard in the final race at Musselburgh on Thursday.

The nine-year-old will be making his 68th career start over hurdles, winning on nine previous occasions.

Is unproven over three miles, but the sharp track could enhance his chances of staying the trip. He was last seen finishing a close second behind Kinbara Firstdraft over two miles and four at Ayr a couple of weeks ago.

Has the ratings to play a part, and should go well with a few runs under his belt already this month.
