Last season saw some brilliant flat racing from across the United Kingdom with remarkable results and some unbelievable performances that made for one of the greatest flat seasons to date.
Certain trainers seemed to have the lion share of the winners in the Grade 1 winners with the leading trainers in British racing for the last 10 years being Aidan O'Brien and John Gosden cleaning up once again.
The Ballydoyle operation was never going to match the season they had the year before, breaking the record for the amount of Grade 1 wins in a season but they still went on to take a far few black type contests along with three of the British classics in the season.
Gosden, although he wasn't the man to feature in any classic wins he cleaned up elsewhere taking some of the richest races in the UK and the world with the amazing quality he has at his yard.
Other big trainers get a mention for pitching in with winners like Richard Hannon, Richard Fahey and others all featured on the big stage at least once in the season.
However, there also has to be a mention for the smaller trainers that were not likely to get a Grade 1 win to there name this year but Bryan Smart and James Fanshawe are the names that come to mind and they are really starting to establish themselves as stand out trainers.
This quiz is all based around what horses went on to win all the Grade 1 contests in Britain last season, as a hint we have give you the race and racecourse it is held at and then the winning trainer of he race, but it is your job to give us the horse.
You have 10 minutes to complete this quiz with no multiple choice on offer, so your knowledge has to be of a good standard.
Good Luck!
