Conquest Of Power is the runner from the Mark Usher yard in the 17:00 today.

The five-year-old has won three from 21 efforts on the all-weather. He was last seen finishing eighth of eleven over six furlongs at Wolverhampton at the start of last month.

Drops in grade today, and should be thereabouts if back to his best.

Tasever is the runner from the Patrick Morris stable in the 17:30 today.

The five-year-old has been a consistent winner at Newcastle since the start of November, recording two wins over course and distance.

Likely to get an easy lead today, and that should make him hard to oppose on these terms.

Previous course and distance winner Dark Kestrel represents the Antony Brittain yard today.

The five-year-old won over five furlongs at Newcastle in October, and was last seen chasing home an in-form rival over the same trip at Southwell last week.

Is unlikely to be that far away if at the same form today.

Impeach is an interesting runner for the Rebecca Menzies yard at Newcastle today. The seven-year-old has recorded four wins on the Polytrack, but is yet to fire on the all-weather.

However, there was plenty to like about her latest effort when finishing third and three lengths behind Northern Cracksman.

Likely to be thereabouts if repeating that effort today.
