Castan is the runner from the Bryan Smart yard in the second race on the card at Newcastle on Monday.

The four-year-old has won twice from eleven starts on the all-weather, and was last seen finishing a decent fourth of ten behind Strong Johnson over five furlongs at Newcastle last month.
