Followed that up with a win at Wetherby over two miles, before returning with a third at Newcastle last month. Up just 1lb, and is entitled to go well once again.

Galahad Threepwood represents the Ewan Whillans team in the 15:25 at Newcastle today.

The eight-year-old has won once from 15 starts over hurdles. Was the winner of a handicap over two miles and three for Ben Pauling, and has since finished a fine third over two miles and one at Newcastle.

Back up in trip today, and is likely to be a leading contender with Craig Nichol in the saddle.

Demoiselle Kap looks like the one to beat in the 16:00 at Newcastle today.

The seven-year-old mare is the runner from the Jennie Candlish yard, and made a winning start for her new yard off this mark over hurdles last week.

Has previous chase wins to her name after winning twice over fences during her time in France. Looks to be the one to beat despite carrying top weight.
