Alan Brown's runner in the 18:30 at Newcastle today is Blackjack, who will have Tom Eaves aboard.

The seven-year-old has won five from 34 starts on the all-weather, and has been running incredibly consistently since the start of October over six furlongs.

Was last seen finishing second in a Class 4 at Chelmsford, finishing a length behind Monsieur Kodi. Likely to need more once again today, but arrived at Newcastle in excellent form and is likely to be thereabouts.
