Charlie Appleby's star two year old sprinter Noble Style has been put away for the season but will be back next year having fully recovered from a bout of Colic.
The 525,000gns son of Kingman was a very smart winner at Ascot on debut in May over 5f when beating the likes of Walbank and Royal Scotsman.
Seen twice more since then at the back end of July at Newmarket he got the job done late on when beating Mill Stream by half a lengths, giving a lot of weight away to the rest of the field.
Stepped up to Group Two company at York's Ebor meeting he went on to take the Gimcrack Stakes over 6f landing a hat-trick of wins and keeping his unbeaten streak.
Set to race in the Middle Park Stakes he suffered from Colic but having now fully recovered his trainer Charlie Appleby is excited to see just how good he can be in the big Group One events.
Appleby said: “Noble Style ran over five and was electric over six as well. He’s a totally different make-up of a horse to Naval Power.
“He’s put away for the winter and is fine now and he’s going to be that exciting horse in the spring that goes into those trials not knowing what level he is going to achieve.”
