Nottingham (14:13) Tip - The Grand Visir

It has been a long wait for veteran The Grand Visir since his last win at Royal Ascot in 2019, but Wednesday could be his opportunity to bounce back.

Ian Williams is operating at a 6% strike rate over the last 14 days, while in-form Richard Kingscote takes the ride.

The ten-year-old has won five from 41 starts on the flat, but has been competitive in handicap company throughout the season. Among those include a close third behind Ranch Hand over two miles at Ascot in early August.

Trip poses no questions this week, and he could excel in this company on likely more testing ground.

Nottingham (14:43) Tip - Cresta Cat

Cresta Cat has been a fan favourite over the summer, and the Gary & Josh Moore-trained gelding will be looking to clock up a four-timer at Nottingham on Wednesday.

He is 8lb higher than when last seen at Leicester. On that day, he was visually very impressive when scooting clear of the field to finish six lengths ahead of Fiddlers Green.

The more testing ground has brought out massive improvement on the turf this year, and he also has a win over course and distance to her name after beating Martin Spirit by three lengths on soft ground at Nottingham on October 24.

Nottingham (15:50) Tip - Rock N Roll Pinkie

Sir Michael Stoute saddles his last runner in the final race at Nottingham. However, Rock N Roll Pinkie could spoil the farewell party for the combination of Ivan Furtado and Marco Ghiani.

The four-year-old was a winner over course and distance over the summer, beating Young Merlin by over two lengths.

Looked back to her very best on soft ground when last seen, finishing two lengths second behind Hardy Bloke.

Enjoys it over this trip, and has a leading chance if back at that level in similar conditions on Wednesday.
