Love Beach looks a sound chance to follow up on an encouraging debut on track on his second start at Nottingham on Wednesday.

James Fanshawe is operating at 30% over the last two weeks, and Ross Coakley is booked to take the ride. The two-year-old was green on debut over an extended mile at Nottingham at the start of the month, doing his best work late to finish fourth.

However, he boasts the advantage of a run under rules compared to the market principles, and the finishing effort on the heavy ground at Nottingham earlier in October bodes well for his second effort today in similar conditions.

James Tate-trained Collusion has a solid chance to register a first win under rules in the penultimate race on the card at Nottingham today. The three-year-old gets weight from the majority of his rivals, and has little to find based on official ratings.

It is worth mentioning that Collusion comes out on top based on RPRs. The three-year-old went close off the same mark at York over six furlongs last week when narrowly denied by Hombre.

That was his first start for 234 days, and there's every chance that he can now go one better with that recent return run under his belt.
