On Thursday we have picked out one horse that is well in with the handicapper and with that in mind could run a big race at Southwell this afternoon.
The horse in question today is the Tom Dascombe trained Skittlebombz that heads to Southwell in search of his first win on the flat, having been knocking on the door of late.
The two year old has managed two seconds and a third in his last four runs, with his second last time out coming off a mark of 75 at Newcastle.
He is set to go up to a mark of 77 for his next race, so racing off the same mark as his last run officially outs him 2lb well in with the handicapper, which offers him a chance today.
