Mount Tempest could be hard to beat for the Dan Skelton team in the second race on the card at Sandown today.

The seven-year-old was the winner of this race last year, beating Greenrock Abbey by over a length. Followed up that win with a success over a mile and seven at Wetherby.

Returned to action last month with a fine fourth over two miles and four at Bangor, finishing eight lengths behind Jagwar.

Has a clear advantage on ratings, and Harry Skelton is booked to take the ride.

Cameron Iles is booked to take the ride on the Tom Lacey-trained Tea Clipper on Friday at Sandown.

The nine-year-old ran creditably on his previous effort when finishing third and two lengths behind Tightenourbelts over three miles at Exeter.

Was also a sound fourth on his reappearance over the same course and distance in October.

Tea Clipper has won once from 18 starts over fences, but he has each-way claims at the very least based on his consistent efforts in recent months.
