Sandown Kingmaker Guide

1. Dell Oro

Trainer - Gary Moore

Jockey -

Franked Kempton form over Christmas with a win next time out at Huntingdon in a Class Three Novices Limited Handicap.

However, found the Grade One Scilly Isles far too hot here last time, and was pulled up before the eleventh flight after a few blunders.

Dropping to a Grade Two, this remains no easy task.

2. Glen Forsa

Trainer - Mick Channon

Jockey -

Had plenty in hand over Dell Oro in that Christmas contest - the 32Red.com Chase at Kempton, justifying significant market support before the off.

Followed up his impressive win at Chepstow on chasing debut back in November, and for a 7yo looks incredibly lightly raced yet mightily progressive.

Good now go to the next level.

3. Kalashnikov

Trainer - Amy Murphy

Jockey -

Not ideal for Kalashnikov on his quest towards the Arkle, now attempting to go right handed once again.

This race looked made for him at Warwick, but needs to use this contest either way to better his jumping, with in particular Le Richebourg waiting in the wings in under four weeks time.

Has course form behind subsequent Supreme winner Summerville Boy from last season's Tolworth, and will have strong claims to go one better.

The class horse in the race.

4. Dalila Du Seuil

Trainer - Harry Fry

Jockey -

One of two mares in the field, Dalila Du Seuil has been on a decent roll for Harry Fry and his team, who are experiencing are rather more quiet season than the last.

She was purchased fro France not too long ago by owner JP McManus - who has certainly been splashing the cash of late, who then won on her British debut at Exeter last month in a Qualifier for the Mares Chase Series.

Smart hurdler winning a few valuable Listed contests in France, and plenty more to come.
