An interesting Novices' Hurdle kicks off the card at Sedgefield, with Willie Mullins raider Mr Escobar heading the betting.
However, Maghlaak could be the interesting contender from the Adrian Keatley yard.
The five-year-old was last of four on his hurdling debut, finishing 25 lengths behind Ace Of Spades over two miles at Cheltenham.
This looks a far easier assignment on paper. Maghlaak showed plenty of promise on the flat, winning twice from nine starts, and could come on from his first run over obstacles with Danny McMenamin aboard.
Trafalgar Square could be difficult to beat for the Oliver Greenall & Josh Guerriero yard in the second race at Sedgefield.
The three-year-old is yet to win in 12 attempts under rules, and has finished in the top three on just one occasion from five starts over hurdles.
However, he produced his best attempt to date when finishing fourth over course and distance earlier this month.
Switches to handicaps for the first time today, and headgear is now applied. If on song, he could be the one to beat.
Six One Nine could be a popular selection among the Rey Mysterio fans at Sedgefield, and he ticks plenty of boxes for the in-form Chris Grant yard.
Danny McMenamin is booked to take the ride on the nine-year-old.
He has won five from 23 starts over the bigger obstacles, and was last seen finishing fourth over two miles and one at Sedgefield in May.
Was a solid performer at Newcastle last season, winning on three occasions. Could be weighted to go well on his reappearance for a red-hot yard.
Finisk River could be a decent contender for the Donald McCain yard at a double-digit price at Sedgefield on Tuesday.
The eleven-year-old will have Charlie Maggs aboard, and has shown plenty of form over two miles and seven already this season, including when winning off a reduced mark at Bangor in September.
Has been well beaten on two previous starts since, including when fourth behind The Navigator over course and distance in October.
However, a return to form could be expected on Tuesday.
The Paddy Pie represents the Joel Parkinson & Sue Smith yard on Tuesday at Sedgefield.
The eleven-year-old looked back to his best form when last seen over course and distance at the start of the month when narrowly denied by Bebside Banter by two lengths.
That was a pleasing return after being well beaten on his previous start over course and distance in October. Likely to be in the mix once again with Peter Kavanagh booked to take the ride.
