Empirestateofmind is the runner from the John & Sean Quinn yard in the opener at Southwell today. Jason Hart is once again booked to take the ride on the seven-year-old, who scored at York over one mile in October.

Has been running consistently since then, which included a close second behind Brewing over seven furlongs at Newcastle late last month. Back up in trip, and only up 1lb.

Come On John ticks plenty of boxes in the 16:45 at Southwell today.

The six-year-old has scored over course and distance, and has been running consistently over a mile and four since the start of December, finishing second over a mile and four on two occasions.

Best to forgive his latest effort at Newcastle when fifth of seven, and he is the type to bounce back quickly.

Tremorgio looks a good prospect for the Charlie Appleby team in the 17:15 at Southwell today.

Oisin Murphy is booked to take the ride on the three-year-old. He was a cosy winner on debut at Newcastle over a mile and two in October, beating Ivatt by over two lengths.

Looks the type to make further progress, and appears challenging to overcome on all known form lines today.

Gemma Tutty saddles Ormolulu in the 17:45 at Southwell today.

The five-year-old has recorded four wins from 17 starts on the all-weather, but has the habit of being a slow starter. Has a creditable record over course and distance, which includes four wins.

Unlikely to be far away based on her latest effort over six furlongs when just under a length behind Many A Star.

Neptune Legend is the runner from the in-form Tony Carroll stable in the 18:45 at Southwell today.

The six-year-old gelding has won three from 31 starts on the all-weather, and has hit the crossbar on his last two efforts. The latest of those came when beaten a nose by an in-form Piperstown over six furlongs at Wolverhampton.

A reappearance of that quality will make him difficult to overlook.
