Sean Bowen takes the ride on James Owen-trained Come On John in the opening contest at Southwell today.

The six-year-old has won three from 37 on the all-weather, and was close to Moon Over The Sea over a mile and four at Wolverhampton at the end of December.

Has remained in form since that effort, and should be thereabouts once again with his rival off this mark.

Ben Y Bryn is the runner from the Charles Hill yard today, and the in-form Jason Watson is booked to take the ride.

The four-year-old made a pleasing return to action at the start of the month at Wolverhampton, claiming fifth and finishing just two lengths behind Lady Dreamer after a 455-day break.

Should be capable of building on that effort, and is a serious chance based on his efforts in the winter of 2023, which included a win over six furlongs at Chelmsford.

David Simcock sends Caffu Zafeen to Southwell today, and in-form David Probert is booked to take the ride.

The four-year-old is yet to win in four attempts on the all-weather, but has produced two decent efforts in handicaps since returning from a 101-day break in December.

Was last seen last month, finishing sixth of eight at Lingfield over six furlongs, but had no luck in-running. Should be a handicap win in him at some point.

Orangeandlemons is the runner from the Edward Bethell yard in the 15:15 today, and Billy Loughnane is an eye-catching booking.

The three-year-old filly is winless in four starts under rules, but has finished second on all efforts on the all-weather.

Was last seen finishing second behind Crack On Boys on her first attempt over a mile, and is likely to feature prominently with a similar effort on these terms today.

Turbo Command is the runner from the Alison Hamilton yard today, and Paul Mulrennan is booked to take the ride.

The eight-year-old has won five from 32 efforts on the all-weather, which includes a win over course and distance in December 2023.

Bounced back from a no-show on his latest start, and he could have the race run in his favour today, as he thrives when chasing home off a honest pace.
