The six-year-old is yet to win on the synthetic surface, but has run to high standards on his last two attempts. The latest of those was over course and distance at the end of last month when finishing within two lengths of Fools Rush In.

The form of that race has worked out well, and he should be primed for a big showing after two comeback runs following a 361-day break.

Hill Station represents the Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole yard at Southwell this evening, and Richard Kingscote is booked to take the ride.

The six-year-old is 2lb below his last winning mark, and positives could have been taken from his recent effort when finishing fourth of eight despite enduring a difficult passage.

Should be closer to Alfheim today, and well worth another chance on these terms.
