David Menuisier’s string are in red-hot form and Migration could be about to keep up that rich vein of form in the opening contest of the Glorious Goodwood Festival.
The five-year-old gelding made a most eye-catching return after nearly two years off the track, finishing strongly once granted a clear passage, and he may well have got closer to his rivals that day with a little more luck in running.
He came in for a significant amount of support before the off, which suggests he has been showing plenty at home and with William Buick retaining the ride here he should only improve again under his optimum conditions with the cobwebs well and truly off.
