Richard Hannon’s colt created a favourable impression when hitting the crossbar on his racecourse bow over a sharp 5f at Salisbury last month, keeping on well for second behind the winner who had the benefit of a recent run.

That performance suggested this step up in trip should bring about further improvement and the yards runners often benefit for the run.
