Today we are looking back at last year's Classic Novices' Hurdle winner with the Grade Two on the Cheltenham card always giving us a better idea for the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at the festival.
The 2020 renewal of the race saw some potential superstars take to post and it was the Colin Tizzard trained Harry Senior, who came out on top.
The talk before the race was about the Harry Fry trained King Roland, but it was Harry Senior that managed to stay the best up the hill for the Dorset team.
Although running a cracker in that event, when he went to the Cheltenham festival and was unfortunately pulled up, running no sort of race whatsoever.
Unfortunately things got worse for the horse this season as he passed away after suffering a nasty injury at Stratford when unseating his rider.
Harry Senior could have been a star over horse and it leaves the racing world with a case of what could have been.
