Today we are looking back at last year's winner of the Group One July Cup at Newmarket with the six furlong event set to be this weekends highlight event.
Oxted landed the contest last season giving his trainer Roger Teal his first ever success in a Group One and looks to be heading back this weekend to defend his crown.
The five year old in the race took on all the key sprinters in the division, managing to see off the late Sceptical, Royal Ascot winner Golden Horde and Stewards' Cup winner Khaadem in the final stages.
Since that win the pacy gelding has gone close in the Abernant Stakes and Duke Of York Stakes, but last time out managed to get back to winning ways when taking out the Group One King's Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He heads back to defend his title in prime form and today we want you to sit back and relax whilst watching his win in July Cup last year.
Enjoy!
