As ever, we will try and brighten up your Saturday mornings with a throwback to some of the best race of the last 10 years and today's stand out contest is the 2019 St James's Palace Stakes.
Last year's renewal of the contest was the best for some time with plenty of Group One individuals taking up the black type event and since this race has been running there have been some stand out rosters.
Circus Maximus went on to land the contest for Aidan O'Brien and what made it extra special for the trainer was that the three year old was supplemented extremely late and it paid off.
Making the turn for home there was at least five or six horses in with a chance, but in the final furlong O'Brien's colt managed to slip the field and even though there was a tight finish he did enough to land the prestigious event.
