One of the feature races across the two days at the Dublin Racing Festival is the Irish Gold Cup and last year the event was won by the Gordon Elliott trained Delta Work.
The race was set up as a clash for the ages with most of the best staying chasers in Ireland all battling it out for the prestigious Grade One prize.
With Delta Work already landing the Savills Chase over the same course and distance just months before it was no surprise to see him take the glory once more.
Although he landed back to back Grade One races against the best in Ireland, the form was reversed by some of them at Cheltenham in the Gold Cup.
He will be looking to land the race for a second time on Sunday and then head straight to the festival to give Gordon Elliott his second Gold Cup.
