The Betfair Chase on Saturday looks set to be a cracker and in the build up to the Grade One event, all week we are looking back at some of the best renewals of the race.
Cue Card during the last 10 years was one of the most remarkable jumps horses to grace the sport and in the Betfair Chase he went on to land it three times.
Today we are looking back at his first ever win in the race back in 2013 where he took on a strong field including Long Run, past Betfair Chase winner Silviniaco Conti and Dynaste.
Cue Card was a legend in his time on the track with a winner at the Cheltenham festival, In the King George at Kempton and three time winner of this race.
The 14 year old is now retired and onto pastures new but it does not stop us on looking back on what was a superb career for the gelding, trained by Colin Tizzard.
