All racing this week builds up for the main event at Cheltenham with the card at Prestbury Park showing off four Grade Two events and the one we are looking back at today is the Cleeve Hurdle.
The superstar staying hurdler for Emma Lavelle has landed this event for the last two years on his way to the Cheltenham festival and today we are looking back at his first win in the race.
It saw emphatically beat a strong field of well known hurdlers and then back that up in March when landing the Stayer's Hurdle on the Thursday of the four day meeting.
Paisley Park over the last few seasons has made himself one of the most beloved horses in the sport and he will head to Cheltenham on Saturday looking to land a hat-trick in the race.
He will then go back to the same track in March and look to put right, his wrong of 2020 when he ran no sort of race and gave one of his only worst performances of his career.
