Everyday we will be posting one superb race from the last 20 years in this new blog that throws it all the way back to some of the best days this sport has witnessed.
The first race of this new segment is no other than one of the greatest races of the last 10 years to take place at the Cheltenham festival.
The 2017 RSA Chase was dominated by Nicky Henderson and the favourite Might Bite was thought to be untouchable.
However, another of the Seven Barrows team, Whisper played a huge part in the contest that will never be forgotten and will firmly stay in racings history books.
Might Bite from his sire Scorpion, has been known to get distracted when in isolation and up the Cheltenham hill had his eye caught and veered off the track when looking sure to land the contest.
This let second placed Whisper to head to the front but what happened from there was truly breathtaking.
Enjoy our throwback to the 2017 RSA Chase!
