The Dublin Racing Festival is now just a day away and the first race last season set the standard for how the meeting was going to go and we have taken a look back at the Grade One event.
The Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors Grade One Novice Hurdle over 2m6f saw a stellar field of runners head to post with horses that were set to be entered into the Ballymore or Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham festival.
Latest Exhibition for trainer Paul Nolan stole the show under a superb ride by Bryan Cooper to land his first Grade One, with the likes of Fury Road, Longhouse Poet, Cobbler's Way and Elixir D'ainay in behind him.
He then went to the Cheltenham festival and finished a narrow second to Monkfish in the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle and this term has been sent chasing.
This year's renewal looks somehow better than last year's event and we are very excited to see what happens.
