This week all the racing is gearing up towards the weekend with the Group One Lockinge Stakes the feature race on Saturday and today we are looking back at 2018 winner of the race.
The Aidan O'Brien trained mare was a superb horse over the years for the Ballydoyle Maestro landing three Group One events including the FIllies' Mile at Newmarket, Prix de l'Opera at Chantilly and this race, the Lockinge Stakes.
Having been a horse that was versatile when it came to ground conditions winning on soft and good to firm, it was a pleasure to watch her in her prime.
In 2018 she took on the likes of Lightning Spear, Lancaster Bomber and Addeybb and getting mares allowance went on to take the event by a short head.
