The feature race that we will be building up to throughout the weeks is the Grade One Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot and today we are looking back at the very special 2018 winner.
Paisley Park made his name known in the stayers division off the back of this win, giving his trainer Emma Lavelle her first ever Grade One winner.
Having won twice already during the season Paisley Park was still somewhat of a unknown entity, but after landing the race became one of the most watched horses for that season.
After taking the race he headed to Cheltenham twice to land the Grade Two Cleeve Hurdle and then Grade One Stayers Hurdle at the festival.
He is one of the most likeable horses in the sport and again has a big chance this season to land Grade One honours again.
