Today sees the chase debut of Nicky Henderson and JP McManus' smart mare Dame De Compagnie and we have taken a look back at her super victory at the Cheltenham festival in 2020.
Last season the mare light up the Cheltenham festival on the Wednesday when landing the Coral Cup by just over two lengths, never really being asked for her full effort.
The Seven Barrows yard have now decided it is time for her to go over fences and she starts her campaign over the bigger obstacles at the Scottish track in only a two runner race.
She will take on Grade One winning hurdler Cornerstone Lad in heavy ground at Ayr and will need to be right on it to see past the seven year old, who is having his second start over fences.
In anticipation of her first run of the term we have take a look back at her super performance at the Cheltenham festival, enjoy!
