Today we are looking back at one of the best renewals of the King George VI Chase seen in the last 10 years with Cue Card for Colin Tizzard just getting up close home to deny Willie Mullins' Vatour.
In what was not just one of the best races in King George history but it was one of the best spectacles seen ever on a racecourse, with the two superstars battling it out for three miles and only the slightest of margins could split them.
in 2015 a whole of host of stars were faced off against each other in the Grade One event but with two fences to go there was only going to be two possible winners.
Willie Mullins' horse jumped the last and looked sure to give the Irish handler his second win in the Boxing Day Race, but with 100 yards to go the superstar Cue Card was not for stopping and just did enough to land the event.
Both of them have gone on to win some of the biggest Grade One events over fences and it truly was a race that no one will forget.
