The King George VI Chase is now just two days away and in the races' honour we have taken a look back at the 2017 renewal, when Might Bite was a very popular winner of the event.
The four time Grade One winner was a well backed winner of the Grade One back in 2017, going off at 6/4 and cruising to victory under Nico De Boinville.
Although only winning the race by a length, all of the hard work was done after jumping the last with the lengths between the other horses too big to close.
Nicky Henderson has won the event three times with only two horses and Might Bite was the last horses of his to win it, on Saturday, the Seven Barrows trainer fields Santini after supplementing him at a late stage for £5,000.
Might Bite was not the same horse for his connections after winning this great race, only going on to win once in 11 tries over fences.
