This week is all about the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe over in France and in the lead up to the big race we are looking back at some of the greatest renewals over the past decade.
There is only one place to start with this race over the last 10 years and that is with the dual winner Enable, who frighteningly took her first event back in 2017.
John Gosdne's super-mare had an illustrious career that saw her pick up Group One races in England, France, Ireland and America, but one of her greatest ever performances came in this great race.
Taking on 18 superb runners, she was given a superb ride by Frankie Dettori, that saw her swoop to the front with ease at Chantilly and eventually she pulled away in the final stages to land the race by close to three lengths.
On her unfavored soft ground she still managed to light up the turf and she is a racehorse that will live long in the memory of the sport.
Enjoy!
