Today we are looking back at the 2020 renewal of the Grade One Tolworth Hurdle with the big race set to take place at Sandown on Saturday.
A horse that seems to have been around forever but is still only eight years old and in 2020 Fiddlerontheroof landed the first Grade One of his career in the Tolworth Hurdle.
Being bought from trainer John J Walsh in Ireland he joined Colin Tizzard and in his opening season looked a superb horse to go to war with in the future having won the Tolworth and then headed into the Supreme Novice Hurdle, albeit not running his race.
His novice chase campaign last term saw him be the bridesmaid on a number of occasions and this year it has been a similar story, with him last being seen in the Ladbrokes Trophy when only going down by half a length.
