The feature race of the weekend is the Grade Two Silviniaco Conti Chase and today we are looking back at the 2021 renewal where the Paul Nicholls trained Master Tommytucker landed the spoils.
The now 11 year old has a had a decent career over fences, at the start falling in three of his first four outings, but when getting round looking like a very smart horse.
His win last year in the Grade Two Silviniaco Conti Chase is his biggest scalp to date, seeing off a field of three of other runners, including Grade Three winner Clondaw Castle and Grade One winner Riders Onthe Storm.
Imperial Aura also unseated at the second fence making the task a lot easier but, overall Master Tommytucker was far too good on the day taking the event by 12 lengths.
Since then the closest the gelding has come to winning was two starts ago when a good second to Lostintranslation in the Grade Two Chanelle Pharma 1965 Chase at Ascot.
Enjoy!
