Another day and another look back at some of the best races from last year's Dublin Racing Festival and today we are delving into the Irish Champion Hurdle.
Many of the field heading to post this year, featured last term and Honeysuckle for Henry De Bromhead is going for back to back renewals of the race.
As a mare she gets the 7lb allowance which made all the difference in the final stages of last year's race, with a few horses rallying late looking to just get up on the line.
The form line of this event last season took a big boost with Honeysuckle going on to win at the Cheltenham festival in the Mares' Hurdle and the second Darver Star was a close third in the Champion Hurdle.
Honeysuckle is now unbeaten in all 10 of her events to date including in point to points and over hurdles and she will be looking to retain her title this weekend.
