Today we are looking back at the 2016 renewal of the Grade One Tolworth Hurdle with the Willie Mullins trained Yorkhill coming over from Ireland to land the spoils.
The now retired 12 year old was a superstar back in the day over in Ireland landing races like the Tolworth Hurdle, Ballymore Novices' Hurdle and Mersey Novices' Hurdle.
Sent over fences after that superb hurdling season, he carried on his good run of form to land the JLT Novices' Chase to become a two time Cheltenham festival winner.
Although losing his way towards the backend of his career, he will always be known for how impressive he was at the start of his racehorse life.
His win in the Tolworth was his first Grade One of his career and we are taking a look back at it today.
Enjoy!
