Today we are looking back at the 2020 renewal of the Grade One Long Walk Hurdle with two heavyweights of the staying hurdles division fighting it out in a photo.
Paisley Park and Thyme Hill were both at the top of the betting for the Ascot feature alongside the mare Roksana and having already met once that season they fought out another cracker.
Going up to the last it looked as though Thyme Hill was going to take the spoils, but from the clouds Paisley Park got up, only ever winning the race at the line.
The Emma Lavelle trained stayer has not been the same horse this year and it is unlikely he will retain his crown, but over the years he has been one of the racing communities favourite horse.
Enjoy!
