The Breeders Cup meeting is just a day away and today's throwback race of the day looks back at the 2018 Breeders' Cup Mile where British raider Expert Eye landed the Group One.
Sir Michael Stoute's superstar during the 2018 season was a horse to be feared landing races such as the City Of York Stakes and the Jersey Stakes at the Royal meeting.
Before the Prince Khalid Abdullah owned runner landed the race at Churchill Downs he headed over to France for the Prix Du Moulin, where he finished a stylish third.
It set him up perfectly for the American event, where Sir Michael Stoute added to his superb record at the Breeders Cup meeting and for that win Expert Eye goes down in the meetings history.
