Today we are looking back at the 2017 Prix du Moulin where one of the leading milers of the last five years, Ribchester, went on to take the Group One.
The multiple Group One winning miler was a stand out winner of this event back in 2017 when seeing off the likes of Taaref, Lightning Spear and Massaat.
This was the last win of his career having finished second at Ascot in the QEII after that, also heading to Del Mar for the Breeders' Cup Mile when fifth in a hot race.
Earlier in his career the superstar was seen winning races like the Queen Anne Stakes, Lockinge Stakes, Prix Jacques le Marois and Jersey Stakes.
Now a sire he will be hoping to produce some offspring that can follow in his footsteps but with the big Group One Prix du Moulin on Sunday we are looking back at his win in 2017.
