Another day another throwback and today we are looking back at a race that takes place on Saturday, the Group Three Rose Of Lancaster Stakes and last year's winner used that performance to springboard his career.
Addeybb for William Haggas landed this event at Haydock back in 2019 with soft ground being his bread and butter but off the back of this he has since gone very close in the British Champions Stakes at Ascot and also landed back to back Group Ones in Australia.
The six year old has had a superb career, but only in his last two season has he properly started to lay down the gauntlet to the top horses in the top races.
In this Group Three the superstar made every yard, taking on a less than impressive field than what he is used to now but back then he struggled in those races.
The contest bought up his seventh win of his career.
