Today we are taking a look back at one of the most dramatic races at the 2021 Cheltenham November meeting where it saw a two horse race nearly end with both not completing.
The Novices' Chase on the Friday saw superstar Grade One winning hurdler My Drogo make his chase debut but it did not go to plan.
Only two horses turned up for the event with Dan Skelton's gelding and Irish raider Gin On Lime for Henry De Bromhead and what a show they put on.
Coming up to the second last My Drogo was set to jump past the mare and go on and take victory but at the fence both horses clattered it at the same time.
This saw My Drogo fall and unseat Harry Skelton, but in a very similar fall Rachael Blackmore managed to stay on Gin On Lime and jump the last well to win the race.
Thankfully both horses were ok with My Drogo winning next time out.
