Some of the races we have shown during this segment have been very tight finishes between some superstar horses and in today's edition we have followed that up.
British Champions Day at Ascot rounds off the flat season in style every year and in the 2019 Long Distance Cup all the talk was about John Gosden's Stradivarius adding another big race to his superb roster of race wins.
After landing back to back £1 million bonuses for winning the Yorkshire, Ascot Gold, Goodwood and Lonsdale Cup he was all set to take the Group Two, but finally he was beaten after 10 straight victories.
Aidan O'Brien is never short of winners at Ascot throughout the season and he took this contest again with Kew Gardens matching Gosden's horse stride for stride in the finish to just get up on the line in one the best renewals of the Long Distance Cup.
